Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students for the 2026-2027 school year! A dedicated school district near Culdesac, ID, is seeking three skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to provide in-person services to a vibrant caseload of K-12 students. This is a contract position, perfect for professionals eager to make a direct impact in students' educational journeys. The retiring SLP is leaving behind a legacy of exceptional care and a need for enthusiastic SLPs to carry on her commitment. Caseloads are thoughtfully maintained between 50-60 students, ensuring manageable workloads and time for personalized care. You'll have the option to work at the elementary, middle, or high school level, with established schedules for each campus (
Elementary:
7:30-4,
Middle:
7:45-4,
High:
8:30-4).
Desired qualifications and experience:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active SLP license (Idaho preferred or eligibility for licensure) CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates welcome Prior experience working in school settings, pediatric populations, or with high-needs caseloads Familiarity with IEP processes and educational assessment tools Ability to deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions to a diverse group of students Commitment to fully in-person services—remote or hybrid arrangements are not available Key responsibilities: Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and offer individualized therapy to K-12 students Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain thorough documentation and track student progress Foster an encouraging and inclusive environment for all learners This school community is deeply invested in direct, in-person support, appreciating your hands-on presence and expertise.
