Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract assignment providing speech-language pathology services to K-12 students in a supportive school environment near Bolingbrook, IL! This role covers the upcoming school semester, beginning August 10, 2026, and concluding October 30, 2026, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Your expertise will make a real difference in the lives of students by fostering their communication skills and overall academic success.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Speech-Language Pathology license for Illinois Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Recent experience as a school-based SLP, working with K-12 populations Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

Assess and identify speech, language, voice, and fluency needs for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy interventions Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Document therapy services, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Provide direct intervention sessions in both individual and group settings Deliver ongoing support and education for students, staff, and families regarding communication disorders
