Job Description

Expand your expertise and make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting high school students for the current academic year. This contract position is conveniently offered onsite, with options for both full-time and part-time scheduling to suit your needs. Work alongside dedicated education professionals in a vibrant setting near Joliet, IL, empowering students to reach their communication goals. Your day will be structured around regular staff hours from 7:55 AM to 3:25 PM, providing consistency and work-life balance. Begin with a manageable caseload of approximately 30 students, with the potential to grow to a maximum of 60 for full-time placements. Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current and active Illinois SLP license Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois required Please submit a screenshot verifying your active IL license and PEL with your application At least one year of school-based SLP experience preferred ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required SLPAs and CFs cannot be considered for this position
Main Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to high school students Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff, parents, and administrators Document progress and maintain accurate records to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations that support academic and personal growth Enjoy the advantages of competitive weekly pay, eligibility for health, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan to support your future.
