Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the academic community as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students onsite near Lake Zurich, IL. This opportunity spans from now until June 4th, 2027, offering the chance to foster communication and growth with a dedicated team and motivated student population. Currently, the school is transitioning from virtual to in-person SLP services, providing a rewarding chance to help shape and elevate their speech program. What you'll bring: Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (required) Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience supporting the specific needs of school-aged children in an academic setting Excellent collaboration and communication skills Initiative and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, supportive educational environment Key responsibilities: Provide direct in-person speech and language therapy to students onsite Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress toward goals Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state policies Engage in professional activities and contribute to a positive school culture What to expect: Contract position, 35 hours per week with no overtime or hour increase Ongoing support from a welcoming and committed school team The satisfaction of making a real difference through direct, in-person support Embrace the chance to be a driving force in students communication development while enjoying a steady schedule and professional growth within a collaborative setting.
