This role begins as soon as possible and extends through June 4th, 2027, making a meaningful impact throughout the school year. The position is based onsite, offering consistency and direct interaction with students and staff. The current opening is for one to two qualified professionals ready to transition caseloads from virtual to in-person services, ensuring enhanced support for students within the district.

Key Qualifications:

Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist licensure (REQUIRED) Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) Previous experience working in a school setting preferred Ability to effectively manage a school-aged caseload Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and students Commitment to in-person service delivery, as this is not a virtual/remote role

Core Responsibilities:

Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing therapy for students with speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals Work closely with classroom teachers and related service providers Monitor and document student progress, reporting updates to teams and families Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams Maintain all required documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines This full-time, onsite contract offers a steady schedule of 35 hours per week, providing stability while supporting educational progress.
