Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

CUSD 303
is seeking an ELEM Speech Language Pathologist, LTS at Richmond Elementary. Approximate dates of
LTS 2/7/27 - 5/3/27
To work as part of our Substitute Team, you will need one of the following: a Valid and active Illinois Professional Teaching License (PEL), Illinois Substitute Teaching License (SUB) (requires a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education). We do not accept Short Term Substitute Teaching Licenses in D303.
Long Term Substitute Teacher Rate:
$220 per day In addition to the online application, a valid Substitute or PEL license, two letters of reference, and a fingerprint-based background check from the Kane County ROE must be provided. For additional details, go to the District 303 website and view the Substitute Handbook.
