Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year. This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to collaborate closely with a dedicated SLP partner primarily supporting nonverbal life skills students, serving a caseload of approximately 5070 students ranging in diverse communication needs.
Key Qualifications:
Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred Strong skills in administering and interpreting speech-language evaluations Comfortable working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for school-aged students Collaborate with another SLP to develop individualized intervention plans Provide expertise and recommendations for educational teams regarding communication strategies and supports Maintain accurate documentation aligned with school and state requirements Participate actively in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed This role is ideal for SLPs who enjoy focusing on assessments and value teamwork.
