The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive therapy services at our Lenexa office location (11242 Strang Line Rd., Lenexa, KS 66215). The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with our Occupational Therapists and families to deliver client-centered care. We're looking for someone who values neurodiversity-affirming therapy and loves to play and have fun in therapy! We need help between the hours of 4/4:30pm - 6:00/7:00pm. If you love creativity, movement, sensory play, and joyful sessions, you'll fit right in. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. Provide direct speech therapy services to children with a variety of communication disorders and all ages. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care. Utilize knowledge of physiology and anatomy to inform therapy techniques and interventions. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Educate families on communication strategies and resources for continued support. Requirements Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid Kansas Licensure in Speech Language Pathology Experience working with pediatric populations Strong understanding of medical terminology related to speech therapy. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it pertains to speech and language development. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
