Job Description

Step into a rewarding onsite contract opportunity supporting elementary students (PreK-5th grade) as a Speech-Language Pathologist. You'll play a vital role in helping children develop essential communication skills in a collaborative, school-based environment near Olathe, KS. Your expertise will empower young learners to reach their academic and personal goals.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Hold a current Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of Kansas Possess a valid Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) license Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred Demonstrated skills in pediatric speech therapy, with prior experience in educational or healthcare settings working with children Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and related documentation Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with staff, students, and families
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Delivering direct speech-language therapy to elementary students onsite, fostering communication and language development Conducting assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring to inform student goals and treatment Collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Developing and maintaining individualized education plans (IEPs) and detailed therapy documentation Engaging in ongoing professional growth through access to mentorship programs and clinical support resources
