r46146-66063 Job Description Heres an exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about supporting students and making a meaningful impact in a school-based setting! A full-time contract assignment is available for an SLP to provide direct speech-language services and support students throughout the school year. This position is ideal for an SLP looking to work within a collaborative educational environment while providing individualized support to students with diverse communication needs. This full-time opportunity covers a maternity leave, beginning January 6 and continuing through April 16. The position offers a consistent 37.5-hour workweek, providing stability and the opportunity to build strong relationships with students, educators, and families throughout the assignment.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP license in the applicable state or eligibility for licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; qualified Clinical Fellows may also be considered Experience working with school-aged children is beneficial Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to provide effective speech-language services in a school-based environment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to students with a variety of communication needs Conduct evaluations and assessments as needed to identify student strengths and areas of need Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student goals Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress throughout the assignment Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, support personnel, and families to promote student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support teams Adapt therapy approaches to meet the individual needs of students across different learning environments This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week and provides an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference while covering a maternity leave.
