e2137-70769 Job Description Make a difference in childrens lives by providing speech and language services in a supportive educational setting near Prairieville, LA. This full-time, on-site opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists devoted to working with pediatric populations in schools. Travel professionals are welcome!
Requirements:
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, or eligibility to obtain before start Passion for working with children and collaborating with school staff and families Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams Maintain thorough and accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines Provide both direct and consultative services, supporting academic success and social participation Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise for student planning and progress monitoring Educate families and school staff on strategies that foster student development This role offers competitive weekly pay, comprehensive health and dental insurance, and a company-matched 401(k) plan.
