Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by applying your expertise in Speech-Language Pathology in a full-time, onsite contract role. Work with a diverse K-12 caseload, supporting students in developing essential communication skills at multiple school locations in the North Adams, MA region. This opportunity offers openings for both certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs with CCC) and skilled SLPAs who are passionate about school-based therapy and eager to work in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students according to individualized education plans. Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. Maintain clear, accurate records and document student progress. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic support. Develop materials and strategies tailored to student needs. Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for goal setting and progress evaluation. Travel between assigned schools as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Current SLP license (CCC highly preferred) or SLPA certification in Massachusetts. Experience in schools or with pediatric populations (internships and clinical rotations count). Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and staff. Ability to organize a flexible caseload and adapt to different school environments.
