Speech and Language Pathologist in Lusby, MD

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide onsite services within a school setting in Lusby, MD. These contract positions will run from August 10, 2026, to June 17, 2027, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The role requires holding a valid Maryland SLP license and the ability to manage a caseload within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver speech-language pathology assessments and interventions to K-12 students. Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs). Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to student-focused discussions.

Qualifications:

Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. Experience working within school settings is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with students of various ages. Commitment to providing onsite support during scheduled school hours (37.5 hours per week).
