Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

A full-time contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to work with school-aged students, starting as soon as possible and continuing through mid-June 2027. This position promises a dynamic environment where your expertise will directly impact young learners, fostering their development every day. Qualifications & Experience:

Current, active Speech-Language Pathology license in Maryland (MD SLP License) Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required Previous experience in a school-based setting highly valued Ability to assess, develop, and implement effective therapy plans for a diverse caseload of school-age children Excellent collaboration and communication skills among students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students with diverse needs Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Provide direct therapy services and progress monitoring for school-aged learners Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to maximize student outcomes Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and guidance Engage in ongoing professional growth and team collaboration within the school community
