Key Qualifications:
Current Maryland SLP License required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred Experience delivering speech therapy services within K-8 school settings is a plus Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Commitment to culturally responsive, student-centered practice
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students at an elementary and a middle school Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with state and district guidelines Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals and foster inclusive communication environments Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team activities
