School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job in Maine We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school in Maine! This is a great opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about helping students build communication skills and has experience working with AAC devices and communication systems.

Position Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy to students in a school-based setting Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students IEP goals Evaluate students speech, language, and communication needs Support students who use AAC devices and other augmentative/alternative communication systems Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other members of the student support team Assist with AAC implementation, programming, and carryover across school environments as appropriate Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with school requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Maine SLP license ASHA Certification Previous school-based experience preferred but not required Experience with AAC devices, including evaluating and supporting students who rely on AAC, strongly preferred Why Consider This Opportunity?
