Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2025-2026 school year, supporting students' communication and learning journeys. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current, valid SLP license recognized in the state of Michigan Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Prior experience working in school-based settings or with pediatric populations strongly preferred Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaborative skills Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students Commitment to evidence-based therapy and ongoing professional developmentPrimary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services to students with diverse needs Conduct thorough assessments, interpret evaluation results, and establish individualized treatment goals Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student achievement Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional learning activities Contribute to a positive, inclusive educational environment that nurtures every learner's potential Take advantage of this opportunity to advance your expertise and make a meaningful contribution every day.
