9603613-49418 Job Description Make an immediate impact supporting students communication growth in a dynamic, contract-based opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists near the Grandville, MI area. This full-time assignment will help cover essential leaves in a school setting, ensuring continued services and progress for students as the year begins. Multiple coverage positions are availableone from the start of the school year through October 1st (with possible extension), and another from the beginning of the year through November 9th (also with potential to extend). Youll have the chance to build rapport with students and educators while maintaining a predictable, weekday schedule.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure (or eligibility) to practice in Michigan Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged Previous experience in a school environment is valued Strong collaboration skills and the ability to adapt to diverse caseloads Effective communicator and proactive problem-solver
Responsibilities:
Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support IEP goals Document services, progress, and recommendations in accordance with district and regulatory requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives Offer compassionate, student-centered therapy This role offers the unique satisfaction of making a difference for young learners at key times in their school year.
