Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Discover an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school setting near Warren, MI. This contract role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, offering you the flexibility to choose a schedule that fits your needs. The position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, with a variety of caseload options including early intervention, elementary, and middle school students. Ideal candidates hold a current Michigan SLP license and possess a passion for working with children and adolescents. Prior experience with middle school populations is a plus but is not required—Clinical Fellows (CFs) are strongly encouraged to apply and can expect robust mentorship and support.
Qualifications:
Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (required) ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Experience with middle school students preferred, not required School-based experience a plus Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Conduct assessments and maintain thorough documentation Support students' participation and success within their school environment
