Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A school in Andover, MN is seeking two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for direct hire positions starting mid-August 2026. These full-time roles offer a 38.75-hour workweek, which includes paid lunch time, providing a balanced schedule for professionals dedicated to supporting diverse student populations. The first position focuses on students in grades 6 through 12, while the second role involves working with a mixed caseload, including elementary students and those in grades 6 to 12 who attend an online school. Both roles offer caseloads ranging from 40 to 55 students, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student communication skills and academic success. Key responsibilities include conducting speech and language assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with educators and families, and maintaining thorough documentation. The positions may also involve teletherapy services, supporting accessibility for students in various learning environments.
Desired qualifications:
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) Eligibility or current certification for Speech-Language Pathologist in schools Experience or interest in teletherapy services Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or willingness to complete Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to student-centered care and collaboration Working in these positions provides the chance to engage with diverse student groups, contribute to their communication development, and collaborate with a supportive educational team.
