Job Description

Step into a fulfilling contract position as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting diverse learners in a dynamic educational environment near Cottage Grove, MN. This onsite role is designed for individuals passionate about making a difference with elementary students, engaging with both focused and districtwide caseloads.
Key Qualifications:
Current Minnesota SLP license required Experience working in school settings or with school-aged children Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with teachers, staff, and families Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet a range of mild to moderate disabilities Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation preferred
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services 4 days a week at two elementary schools for students with mild to moderate disabilities Provide support 1 day per week across the district addressing a broader range of student needs Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams Conduct assessments, maintain up-to-date documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as required Educate and guide teachers, staff, and families on speech/language strategies and accommodations Foster an encouraging, inclusive environment where every student can thrive
