Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a welcoming school district near Cottage Grove, MN. This assignment offers meaningful engagement across three unique educational settings, allowing you to make a significant difference from the start of the 2026-2027 academic year. You will dedicate four days each week to working with elementary students who have mild to moderate disabilities at two vibrant schools. On the fifth day, you'll broaden your reach by providing specialized services across the district, collaborating with a variety of ages and support needs.
Key Qualifications:
Active MDE School License is required Prior school-based SLP experience strongly preferred Demonstrated skill supporting children with mild to moderate disabilities Collaborative mindset with flexibility to adapt to various school settings and caseloads Strong communication and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy in person to elementary students Manage a dynamic caseload across Liberty Ridge Elementary and Hillside Elementary, plus one districtwide day Develop IEP goals and contribute to student support teams Maintain clear, timely documentation and progress notes Participate in meetings, offering professional input and support to staff and families
Work Details:
Contract assignment, beginning September 1, 2026, through June 9, 2027 Standard hours: 37.5 per week (8:45am-4:00pm) Assignments span three school sites All candidates must complete the district's onboarding requirements, including a background check, prior to the start date.
