9665089-55343 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in early childhood special education. This role offers 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week, 4 days weekly) and begins as soon as possible, continuing through the end of the 2026-2027 school year. Youll play a vital part in fostering communication growth for children in an early childhood setting.

Desired Qualifications:

Active Minnesota SLP license and professional certification (CCC) Skilled in school-based speech-language therapy; experience in early childhood settings highly valued Demonstrated history working with multiple disabilities is a plus Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills Committed to inclusive educational practices and individualized student progress

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders within an ECSE environment Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students unique needs, working closely with teachers, families, and support staff Deliver direct therapy services and consultative support to empower both students and staff Monitor progress, document interventions, and participate in team meetings to optimize outcomes Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student achievements and strategies for continued growth This contract position offers a structured schedule over a multi-year assignment, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with students and colleagues alike.
