Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic, full-time role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school setting near Minneapolis, MN. This contract opportunity spans the full academic year, offering the chance to develop therapeutic relationships with a diverse caseload of 60 students. You'll work onsite alongside dedicated educators and student support teams to make a meaningful impact every day. Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid Minnesota SLP license (or eligible) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) with relevant school experience considered Previous experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads preferred Strong knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and special education procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of approximately 60 students across a range of ages and communication needs Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and write/implement IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student success Provide direct therapy, consultation, and advocacy for students' speech and language development Maintain accurate documentation and regular progress reports With a supportive school culture and opportunity to work onsite, this placement is ideal for those ready to be hands-on and see the direct results of their work.
