Job Description

Join Our Team at Parkriver Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Parkriver Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech Therapist (Speech-Language Pathologist) to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. In this role, you will help residents regain communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities while improving their overall quality of life in a supportive and patient-centered environment. Key Responsibilities Evaluate residents to determine speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address residents' communication and swallowing needs. Provide therapy services and monitor progress while adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other care team members to ensure comprehensive resident care. Educate residents and family members on therapy techniques and strategies for continued progress. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and facility standards. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain). Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
Pay:
$50.00 - $52.00 per hour
