Job Description

School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | Full-Time | Minneapolis, MN | 2026-2027 School Year We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based opportunity in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area for the 2026-2027 school year. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population while providing both direct therapy services and comprehensive speech-language evaluations. The selected clinician will join a collaborative educational team and play a key role in supporting student communication and academic success. Position Details Full-time position (37.5+ hours per week) 2026-2027 school year Consistent school-day schedule One primary school location Caseload of approximately 45-60 students Opportunity to serve students across PreK-12 grade levels Hybrid service delivery model supporting both in-person and online learners Responsibilities Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Complete progress reports, documentation, and compliance requirements Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers Monitor student progress and adjust services as needed Student Population The selected SLP will support a diverse caseload of students ranging from preschool through high school. Students may present with a variety of communication needs, including: Articulation and phonological disorders Expressive and receptive language disorders Autism Spectrum Disorder Social communication deficits Fluency disorders AAC needs and other communication challenges Qualifications Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathology License Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
