Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity serving students from PreK through 12th grade as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time position offers a chance to make a lasting impact on young learners, with an assignment running from ASAP through May 28, 2026. Thrive in a school-based setting near vibrant Rochester, MN, working alongside a dynamic team dedicated to student growth and development.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license in Minnesota (or eligibility to obtain prior to assignment start) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is highly preferred, but Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates are also encouraged to apply Experience with pediatric populations, ideally in school settings Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to inclusive practices and supporting students with varying needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, evaluate speech and language abilities, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy, both individually and in group settings, across diverse age groups Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student progress and achievement Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and comply with all relevant laws and school policies Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and other school activities supporting student outcomes Serve as a knowledgeable resource for faculty, staff, and families regarding speech and language development This contract presents an excellent opportunity for both seasoned SLP-CCC professionals and those pursuing their Clinical Fellowship Year to gain valuable school-based experience in a supportive environment.
