Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract position making a difference in the lives of young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This engaging part-time opportunity is designed for a skilled SLP who thrives in K5 settings, with a focus on elementary-aged students. Perfectly suited for those seeking meaningful work with a flexible schedule, this role spans approximately 23 hours weekly and is divided between two elementary buildings near Saint Paul, MN. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active and valid Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license Prior experience working in elementary (K5) educational settings preferred Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance Experience evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapy for a variety of speech and language disorders Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Compassion, patience, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students (caseload to be determined) Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to support student needs Develop and implement targeted treatment plans and interventions Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support IEP processes Engage proactively with staff and families to promote student progress Maintain thorough, timely, and compliant documentation
