A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

In this contract opportunity, you'll work as a Speech-Language Pathologist, partnering closely with educators, families, and other professionals to enable each child to reach their full potential.

What We're Looking For:

Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (state-specific for assignment) Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or related setting preferred Strong understanding of IEPs, evaluation procedures, and evidence-based therapy practices Excellent verbal and written communication skills Collaborative spirit with the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluations for students with speech, language, or communication challenges Develop and implement effective, individualized therapy plans Provide therapy services in both individual and group settings as needed Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to support student progress Document services, student progress, and maintain accurate, compliant records Participate in IEP meetings and help set measurable goals Educate staff and families on communication strategies and resources
