Job Description

Take your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to the next level by joining a dynamic elementary school setting on a contract assignment. This full-time role offers the chance to work closely with young learners, help them discover the power of communication, and make meaningful contributions throughout the school year. Utilize your skillset to support students across a diverse elementary caseload, collaborating with fellow educators and families as you deliver direct speech and language services in an engaging, onsite environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current, active Speech-Language Pathology license required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Demonstrable experience within school or pediatric settings strongly preferred In-depth knowledge of school-based assessment and therapy practices Ability to work effectively onsite, fostering strong relationships with students and staff Commitment to upholding best practices and compliance with state/federal guidelines
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students Create, implement, and adjust individualized therapy plans based on student needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Document interventions and progress accurately, maintaining confidentiality and adherence to school protocols Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning Deliver direct therapy using evidence-based strategies that promote student growth and success Embrace the opportunity to facilitate positive outcomes for students, grow your professional network, and make a visible impact across the school community.
