Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and deliver direct therapy services for children in grades K-5 Manage IEP caseloads for 6 students and serve a total of 19 students with IEPs, as well as an additional 19 students needing interventions Draft measurable IEP goals, track student progress, and provide clear documentation Work closely with parents, classroom teachers, special education staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated support Participate in team meetings and complete administrative tasks, with dedicated indirect time built into the schedule
Desired Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Active state SLP license or eligibility to obtain credentials before the assignment begins Satisfactory background check and fingerprint clearance prior to starting Previous work within elementary schools is a plus, but not required—dedicated travel SLPs are encouraged to apply Open to those who have completed or are completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience in healthcare, pediatric settings, or teletherapy adds value This contract offers a stable, fixed schedule from 8:35 AM-3:35 PM and includes paid time for team meetings and administration, creating a supportive environment for both seasoned and travel SLPs.
