PRN Available! Aspire Senior Living Platte City is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team! In this role, you will provide speech-language therapy services to residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess residents' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on residents' needs. Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance communication and swallowing functions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and occupational and physical therapists. Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy techniques and strategies. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations. Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Missouri. Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric care is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
