Job Description

Make an immediate impact in the lives of students by providing speech-language services at a supportive elementary campus in the St. Louis area. This contract opportunity spans from now through late May 2027, offering a consistent 37.5-hour workweek with the possibility of contributing at one or two local schools as needs arise. The caseload primarily includes students using AAC devices, with a focus on non-verbal communication support. Both SLPs and SLPAs are invited to applyyour dedication and adaptability will be valued here.
Qualifications:
Active Missouri SLP or SLPA license required Previous experience in school settings preferred Familiarity with AAC devices and strategies for supporting non-verbal students Willingness to adapt to shifting caseloads and locations as district needs evolve Successful district fingerprinting (TCN required) and completion of technology paperwork
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary students, supporting their communication and educational goals Manage a caseload totaling approximately 3400 service minutes, collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff Document student progress and communicate outcomes with key stakeholders Travel between up to two assigned schools if needed Provide consultations and recommendations for augmentative and alternative communication Complete all district- and state-required documentation and credentialing processes Youll thrive in this role if you are organized, collaborative, and passionate about inclusive education.
