Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role providing speech-language therapy services for elementary-aged students during the 26/27 school year. Support a focused caseload of five K-6 students by delivering expert speech-language interventions geared toward promoting student growth and communication success. This opportunity is conveniently scheduled for roughly half a day each week near Big Arm, MT, with one additional full day providing services at an upper west shore elementary location. Leverage your skills and experience in school-based settings while contributing to a positive and collaborative educational environment. As part of this role, you'll have meaningful interactions with a small group of students, allowing for personalized care and impactful relationship-building throughout the academic year.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current
ASHA CCC
(Certificate of Clinical Competence) required Active Montana SLP license, or eligibility to obtain Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and effectively manage a focused caseload
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-6 students in alignment with IEP goals Conduct assessments and monitor student progress throughout the year Collaborate with educators, families, and other support professionals to develop and implement intervention plans Maintain documentation and provide ongoing updates on student outcomes Adapt therapy techniques to meet individual needs in both one-on-one and group settings This low-caseload opportunity is perfect for professionals seeking a flexible contract role with significant impact.
