9672530-27589 Job Description Embark on a rewarding part-time assignment supporting students communication and language development across multiple sites for the upcoming school year. This contract position offers the chance to work closely with a small caseload of students from kindergarten through 8th grade, providing impactful speech-language services and participating in assessments. Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will be vital for both ongoing therapy and initial evaluations. Youll be working with 6 current students two times a week and play a critical role in assessing four incoming new students, helping set the foundation for their academic success.
Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP licensure for schools or eligibility to obtain Experience with school-aged children, especially in K-8 settings Familiarity with IEP processes, student evaluation, and progress documentation Strong collaboration skills; able to communicate effectively with staff, families, and students
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to a small, diverse caseload across grades K-8 Conduct assessments and assist in eligibility determination for incoming students Prepare comprehensive reports and contribute to IEP meetings as needed Travel between multiple school sites as required Maintain documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes Partner with educators and families to support student achievement This position offers a flexible weekly schedule totaling 10-15 hours per week, allowing you to make a significant difference while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
