Job Description

Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure (or eligibility) in New Mexico for SLP practice in schools Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred, though strong Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates will be considered Experience in educational settings working with diverse student populations is highly desired Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students, ages may range from early childhood to high school Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs Provide direct therapy services, both one-on-one and small group, addressing speech, language, and social communication goals Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor progress and adapt interventions as needed Maintain accurate records and submit required reports in accordance with district and regulatory policies Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the academic and emotional success of students As a valued contract SLP, your skills will help shape brighter futures for students.
