Key Qualifications:

Current or pending New Mexico NMRLD and NMPED licensure by start date Experience or interest working in school-based, pediatric, or clinical fellowship (CFY) settings Ability to adapt to a diverse student caseload, with specific age group preferences considered during the interview process Strong communication and collaboration skills

Core Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement therapeutic interventions, documenting progress and collaborating with other school professionals and families Participate in staff meetings, contribute to IEP meetings, and support student success in both educational and social contexts Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with state and district requirements
