Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) Experience or a strong interest in school-based pediatric speech therapy Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff Strong organizational and communication skills Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and assignments
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders among students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet each students unique needs Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEP goals Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork to ensure effective intervention strategies Provide support and resources to families and school professionals
