9658167-14006 Job Description Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity making a difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This full-year assignment starts Tuesday, September 8, 2026, and continues through Thursday, June 24, 2027. Youll work at a supportive special education site near Angola, NY, with daily hours from 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Each week, youll manage a manageable caseload with a maximum of 40 half-hour sessions, providing ample time for individualized attention and meaningful progress.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New York Previous experience working in school settings preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Dedication to fostering student growth and supporting diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement tailored therapy plans based on individual student goals and IEP requirements Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress and educational outcomes Document session outcomes, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed Incorporate engaging therapeutic strategies to motivate and empower students This contract position offers a balanced schedule with plenty of opportunities for professional collaboration and growth.
