9668994-12047 Job Description Step into a unique school-based role focused on supporting K-5 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist! Collaborate with two seasoned SLPs and make a significant impact in a supportive environment with a small, manageable caseload. This contract position runs ASAP through June 25th, offering the potentialthough not guaranteedfor summer school extension. Youll split your time, with most hours dedicated to one site and a smaller portion serving another nearby location, allowing you to experience diverse settings within a close-knit community.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility for licensure in New York ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply Previous school-based SLP experience highly valued, but not required Strong communication and collaboration skills, eager to work as part of a dynamic team Comfortable adapting to both independent and team-based responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct therapy to a small group of K-5 students with diverse speech and language needs Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment and education plans Collaborate with teaching staff and two other district SLPs to ensure comprehensive support for students Maintain clear and accurate documentation in accordance with guidelines and timelines Engage families and caregivers, keeping them informed and involved in the therapy process
