Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity this fall, supporting elementary students in a vibrant educational setting. This role spans from early September to late November, with the potential for extension, offering you a chance to make a meaningful impact during a pivotal time in the school year. In this position, you'll focus on key areas such as articulation and fluency, primarily working within education classrooms. You'll be working exclusively with elementary-aged students, providing direct speech-language therapy and playing a vital role in supporting their growth and communication skills. This is an excellent chance to bring your expertise as a school-based SLP into a supportive and energetic academic environment.

Desired Qualifications:

Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in New York Experience delivering services in elementary school settings Solid understanding of articulation and fluency disorders Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators and families Ability to document progress and participate in IEP processes

Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech-language therapy in educational classrooms Develop and implement targeted treatment plans for articulation and fluency Collaborate with classroom teachers and education staff to address student needs Administer screenings and assessments to identify speech and language concerns Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEPs for assigned students This contract position combines the flexibility of a temporary assignment with the satisfaction of supporting students at a critical stage of development.
