Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students while enjoying the beauty of the Ithaca, NY area as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This rewarding contract opportunity invites you to bring your clinical expertise and compassion to a supportive educational environment, where you'll help students communicate, learn, and thrive every day.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous experience working with school-aged children or in school settings Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of students' speech, language, voice, and fluency abilities Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with educators and families Provide direct, evidence-based therapy to students with communication challenges Participate in IEP meetings, maintain accurate records, and document progress Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families for supportive interventions Offer guidance and resources to support a nurturing educational atmosphere
