Job Description

Step into a vital role supporting childrens communication development in a school-based setting near Liverpool, NY. This contract opportunity is ideal for speech-language pathologists with a passion for pediatric care who thrive in collaborative education environments. Youll support students speech and language needs, help them reach their fullest potential, and work alongside a team dedicated to student success.
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure in New York ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY candidates actively pursuing certification Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in educational settings Solid understanding of IEP development and school-based documentation Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive atmosphere for diverse student backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with communication and language disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to support holistic student care Educate staff and families regarding communication disorders, therapy goals, and general strategies for success in the classroom Maintain accurate records and adhere to all regulatory and ethical guidelines Embark on a position where every day brings the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in childrens lives.
