Speech Language Pathologist in Liverpool, NY

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, running from September to June, in a K-12 school located near Liverpool, NY. This contract role primarily serves elementary students, with some high school students included, offering a rewarding opportunity to support speech and language development within an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans Provide direct therapy services tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement appropriate accommodations and modifications Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing to goal setting and progress evaluation Offer guidance and support to parents and caregivers to reinforce learning and growth

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license or eligibility to obtain one in the state Experience working with school-aged children is preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with IEP processes and relevant educational laws and regulations
