A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Potential Compensation:
$84-$110/hour for home/daycare/community •Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. Incentive Program Responsibilities:
Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload. Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations. Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management. Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs. Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel. Collects data on each
IFSP/IEP
goal and reports on progress quarterly. Provide input and attend/teleconference initial
CPSE/CSE
meetings and/or annual reviews.

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist NYSED Certifications:
