Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Brunswick, OH. This position is ideal for professionals who hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) and are passionate about making a positive difference in an educational setting. The role is designed to support school-based needs, including Extended School Year (ESY) services. Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active SLP-CCC certification Current state licensure (or eligibility) Experience in a school setting preferred Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language screenings, assessments, and direct therapy for students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs/504s) Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse learning and communication needs Collaborate closely with teachers, other therapists, and school personnel Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school regulations Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about student progress Support ESY services to help students maintain skills over the summer session Enjoy the chance to enrich student growth and development within a collaborative and welcoming school community.
