Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) serving a school community near Lakewood, OH. This position centers on supporting students' communication goals throughout the school year and may also include availability for Extended School Year (ESY) services. Your expertise will help students thrive academically and socially while collaborating with educators and families in a welcoming educational environment.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Active state licensure (Ohio SLP license or eligibility required) Prior experience in a school setting is preferred Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Interest or availability in providing ESY services is highly valued
Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and re-evaluations for students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain timely and thorough documentation following school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress discussions Adapt therapy approaches to support diverse student populations across grade levels
