Job Description

Empower junior high school students to find their voices and reach their full potential as a dedicated speech-language pathologist in a dynamic educational setting. This full-time, onsite contract offers the chance to contribute vital support to students while enjoying a structured schedule and strong professional community. Youll interact daily with students, teachers, and support staff, making a meaningful impact through evidence-based interventions.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid Ohio SLP license required Previous experience working with junior high or adolescent populations highly preferred Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team Knowledge of state and district-specific documentation protocols
Role Responsibilities:
Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs Develop, implement, and update IEPs in partnership with teachers and families Maintain accurate records and data collection on student progress Offer in-class and one-on-one support as needed Consult and coordinate with teachers and fellow specialists for holistic student care Participate in school meetings, professional development, and parental communications
