9583487-97351 Job Description Make an impact supporting young learners through early intervention in a full-time speech-language pathologist role within a dedicated Early Intervention (EI) program. This contracted opportunity offers you the chance to work closely with a collaborative EI team, focusing on early childhood caseloads and making a true difference in the lives of children and families. This position begins in August 2026 for the 2026-27 school year and is designed for professionals who are enthusiastic about helping children achieve communication milestones. The itinerant nature of the role offers variety, as youll serve students in different educational settings while benefiting from robust supports and resources.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current, valid SLP license for Oregon (or eligibility to obtain prior to start) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Experience working with early childhood or pre-school populations, especially in early intervention Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively as part of an evaluation team and independently in an itinerant capacity
Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and individualized treatment for early childhood students with speech and language needs Collaborate with families, educators, and team members to develop and implement effective intervention plans Participate in evaluation team processes to determine eligibility and service planning Travel between sites to support students within the EI program Maintain detailed records and timely documentation in accordance with program requirements
