What We're Looking For:
Active Oregon license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Prior experience within school settings, especially with pediatric and adolescent populations Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills tailored to students in secondary education Collaborative mindset and readiness to work alongside educators, support staff, and families Excellent communication skills and adaptability to different needs in a diverse educational community
Key Responsibilities:
Provide diagnostic evaluations and treatments for speech, language, and communication disorders Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in cooperation with teachers and parental support Consult and collaborate with school teams to create effective strategies for student success Maintain accurate, timely records consistent with school and state requirements Monitor, document, and report progress; adjust interventions as necessary for optimal student outcomes Educate and empower families, caregivers, and staff on approaches that foster communication gains Embrace a role where your specialized skills help unlock potential and build confidence for high school learners.
